In this role, you’ll manage daily financial operations and support strategic financial planning. You'll oversee accounting processes, financial reporting, and budgeting activities while ensuring accurate financial management and compliance as we scale our innovative plant-based food operations.

Key responsibilities

  • Financial Operations Management: Oversee day-to-day accounting operations including accounts payable, accounts receivable, collections and general ledger management. Ensure accurate and timely financial record-keeping and transaction processing.

  • Financial Reporting: Help prepare annual financial reporting including income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements. Support management reporting and provide financial analysis for decision-making.

  • Cash Flow Management: Monitor cash position and coordinate with teams on payment scheduling and cash management. 

  • Cost Accounting: Support in cost accounting processes including product costing, inventory valuation, and production cost analysis with data.

  • Compliance & Controls: Work closely with external accounting to ensure compliance with accounting standards and internal financial controls. Support audit processes and maintain documentation for regulatory and tax requirements.

  • System Management: Work with and optimize financial systems such as SAP, Finway/Moss, Datev, and related processes. Support ERP implementation and data accuracy across platforms.


Your profile
  • Professional Experience: 3-4 years of finance or accounting experience, preferably in manufacturing, food industry, or high-growth companies. Experience with financial reporting, budgeting, and cost accounting.

  • Educational Background: Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or related field. Ideally with an accounting professional certification.

  • Technical Skills: Proficiency with ERP systems, finance platforms like SAP B1, Finway and Moss, Datev, accounting software, experience with financial reporting and budgeting processes, knowledge of cost accounting and manufacturing finance, and strong Excel and financial modeling skills. Proven ability to use AI in finance and accounting.

  • Analytical Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with attention to detail. Experience with financial analysis, variance analysis, and performance reporting.

  • Communication Skills: Good written and verbal communication skills for financial reporting and cross-functional collaboration with operations, sales, and management teams.

  • Regulatory Knowledge: Understanding of accounting standards, tax requirements, and financial compliance. Knowledge of food industry financial regulations preferred.
